A. Once sessions are full, they will not be visible as a choice when registering.

A. Dates & times to be determined. Please check back in March 2011 for more detailed information.
Q. Are there make-up classes?
A. Unfortunately, there are no make-up classes. If there are handouts from a missed class, you can pick them up at the office.
Q. Who runs Naperville Safety Town?
A. Naperville Safety Town, its programs, and facility are completely operated and maintained by Naperville Junior Woman's Club volunteers. NJWC works in cooperation with community workers to put on the many programs held at Safety Town. Income generated from our Summer Program is used to maintain the buildings and grounds and run programs. No tax dollars go to support the facility.
Q. Are there weekend classes available?
A. We will not be offering Saturday sessions this year.
Q. What are the payment options?
A. Acceptable forms of payment are Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and e-check.
Q. How will I find out my child has been registered for a sessions?
A. After you have completed the registration process, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address you provided. It will confirm the dates and times for your child's session. In addition, this email contains helpful information about what to expect during your child's session.
Q. What if I don't receive a confirmation email?
A. If you have completed your registration and did not receive an email confirmation soon after registering, please email your child's name and your email address to safetytown@napervillejuniors.org.
Q. Do I need to live in Naperville?
A. We welcome all children from any city or state to our program.
Q. Can I register more than one child?
A. You can register up to 4 of your own children at a time. Each parent should only register their own children.
Q. Can I register a friend's child?
A. NO! By signing up another child (who is not your own), you are forging the consent of the other parent, since the waiver includes unforeseeable issues that may arise with the children's safety. It puts you at risk for the other child's liability, and it places Safety Town at an increased risk also.
Q. How old should my child be to attend Safety Town?
A. The Safety Town Summer Program is designed for children entering Kindergarten or First Grade in the fall.
Q. How do I know if my child is ready to attend Safety Town?
A. Children should be able to sit still and quietly for up to 15 minutes while the community workers do their presentations. They should also be able to pedal a small four-wheel bike. Children not able to do both should wait until they are going into First Grade to enter the program.
Q. Does my child need to bring anything with them to Safety Town?
A. Bikes are provided, and while we stress the importance of wearing helmets, the children do not wear helmets on Safety Town bike days due to logisitcal constraints.
Q. Are snacks provided at Safety Town ?
A. No, we do not serve any snacks during the session, but water is provided as needed.
Q. Can my child with special needs attend Safety Town?
