A Special Thank You to Safety Town Participants
On behalf of Families Helping Families I would like to thank all the children that attended Safety Town this summer for the money that was donated to Families Helping Families.

The Naperville Junior Woman's Club that runs Safety Town asked the children attending to bring in loose change to donate to Families Helping Families. The money is converted into quarters that the moms in the program use to do their laundry.

Families Helping Families is a transitional housing program in DuPage County that provides housing to homeless families while they reclaim their lives. These families are on a tight budget and quarters for their laundry helps to free up funds for other necessities.

The children of Naperville raided their piggy banks and did chores around the house to raise money to donate. Thank you to each of you and your parents for participating in collecting over $1,700 dollars during the summer of 2010 at Safety Town.

Families Helping Families is very grateful for so many great friends who care enough to help take care of those in need. Naperville is truly a caring and generous community. On behalf of Families Helping Families, thank you NJWC and the children of Safety Town. Way to go kids!!
